Facilities

Anisha is located in the beautiful, thinly populated and very quiet backdrop of the Malemahadeshwara hillrange in Martalli region, Karnataka, 156 kms from Bangalore and 136 kms from Mysore, the silk capital of India. Anisha's situation in the confluence of the Eastern and Western Ghats make the area a biodiversity hotspot and important crossing for various wild animals. Various wildlife sanctuarities are within a manageable distance for day trips, some of them leading into neighbouring Tamil Nadu: MM Wildlife Sanctuary, Cauvery Sanctuary, Sathyamangalam Tiger Sanctuary, the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Another highlight for nature lovers are the Hogenakkal Waterfalls. 

All rentals are at very moderate prices and include simple vegetarian (and non-vegetarian) Indian meals. The staff is knowledgeable, polite and able to communicate in English.

From Bangalore there is a daily bus connection to Martalli (Alamara Village bus stop). The journey takes approx. 6 hours
