ANISHA continues its programmes since 2015 (end of funding by the German Government) with a budget of approx. 10.000 USD annually for all basic services to farmers, landless homegardeners and women selfhelp groups as well as the cultivation of trials plots around the RC and the running of the seedbank. Support comes from SD-organisations and individuals. A moderate hospitality business helps augment the income as does the sale of seeds, mainly by mail order. Anisha continues to monitor the self help groups, set up during the period 2008-2014 (BMZ funding) and to harvest native seeds from the trial plots of the RC Centre and other sources. There are now more than 300 varieties of native seeds, foremost ragi, in the seed bank. Apart from continuing the field programs, Anisha has further developed the grounds around the Resource Centre by planting different varieties of fruit and wood plants and started a kitchen garden programme for secondary schools in the region. The income generation programme, started with BMZ funding is continuing, the women of the selfhelp groups administer a revolving fund to help them get capital to found their own little business or raise goats, sheep or chickens.
Anisha is reporting annually to Susila Dharma International and the supporting National SD-organisations as well as to supporting individuals and organisations. Audits are also provided on a regular basis. A FCRA license, authorising Anisha to receive foreign currencies in their account, is in place.
